The body number of my A400 is 4963 and the engine number is 4773942.  The car was assembled in Germany as a right hand drive vehicle.  The previous owner had it converted to left hand drive.  The center cross member is stamped MADE IN GERMANY.  When I purchased the car in Colorado in May of 2003 it had only a right hand spare tire.  Since that time I have had a second spare mounted on the left hand side - also had 14 extra holes in the firewall filled in so it  would be difficult to see that it was a right hand drive vehicle.  I am currently in the process of trying to locate some of the previous owners so I can learn more of the history of my 400A.
