Subject: Top quarter window brackets

Does anyone have a picture or a sketch of the quarter window top bracket that attaches to the roof bows. This is the bracket that the "J" hook, for above the quarter window, goes through. I have scanned all the prints on this web site and there is not a good picture or print of it. My top has an obvious home made set. I would like a better picture or sketch, so I can make a set. In the resource section, Phil Allin' news letter number 5 has a detailed drawing of the bracket. There is alss a drawing of it on page 46 of Conibear set of drawings.

The Conibear drawings are located under "Prints and sketches" in the resource section.

I believe that Bill Underwood makes or has made these J-hook brackets. His contact info is listed in the resources section under "hard to find parts". Good luck.

I have recast those if you need them, contact me. They were sandcast from original pieces.

Thanks, but I made a set from the prints, that I welded together and ground down. They are already on the top. Steve Ryan.
