In terms of Judging Standards, would a liquid transfer print process be acceptable as apposed to hand applied faux finish method? Thanks for any direction you can offer here. Jim

jim i'm not familiar with the process you mention. i was impressed with a vendor at hershey last year ,however, and have sent the 15 pieces required for an a-400 to them ... wood grain specialists in littleston,pa. phone 717-359-4597. not cheap at $1200 but it makes a big difference in how ones car turns out.

Bill, That's very nice! I was at the Dallas meet and received info and DVD from Grain-it; just not sure if I have a steady enough hand to pull it off. Thanks for sharing that fine interior shot. Jim

Hi there. I also recently used the Grain It tech woodgraing roller kit. Its really easy to do yourself. If you roll it on and you dont like it, you can just wipe it off and try again. Most people in this hobby have never seen the walnut woodgrain so I get asked alot why I painted the dash Tiger Oak stripe. I was even worried about it myself at first, called the company twice to make sure they had sent me the correct pattern. Then I saw a pic of Bills dash and it looked the same as mine. Its just a wild print compaired to most Model A's. Really though, dont let it scare you. Its worth the money to have the dash look right and you can do it yourself no problem.
