Subject: Rear Bumper Arms Hardware to Rear Body Sill

What type of hardware was originally used to attach the rear bumper iron body stands to the wooden cross sill of the body? Was hardware installed from underneath the body or from on top? Thanks

Carriage bolt #a20725 5/16-18 x2 1/2 4 req'd Finish S; Hex nut 21707 5/15-18(1/4 x 1/2) Four Req'd Raven; L/W 22217 5/16 (1/16 x 37/64) finish S; Carriage bolt plate( see pictures )

Thank you. Would I only need two carriage bolt plates per car? The photos says " make 6". Where would the other 4 belong?

You need two. When I had them made I had extras made.
