My question is what holds the vertical piece of carpet in place that goes below the rear passenger seat.

My car had all the original snaps in place for both the front and rear floor carpets but nothing for this piece below the rear seat.  L/B furnished this as a separate piece, maybe it wasn't originally.  I am wondering if it was attached with adhesive.

Any help will be appreciated.
