When installing the fabric on the top bow I find it impossible to prevent some wrinkles on the underside of the bow at the curves.  The "bow drill" material supplied by L/B does not stretch enough.

I have looked at original photos with a magnifying glass and they also seem to have wrinkles but it is hard to be sure with the photos I have.

Any ideas?

It has been several years since I installed a L/B top. I thought the bow coverings were cut on the bias, that is, at a 45 deg. angle to the threads in the fabric, to allow more stretch. I think I was able to eliminate most (but not all) the wrinkles.

Thanks for the reply, Phil.

Yes, the fabric is cut on a 45° angle and it turned out better than I thought it would.
