Hello, my name is Arlen Evans. I am the proud new owner of an A-400. I am a member of the Dallas Model A Ford Club, the hosting club of the MAFCA/MARC/World meet. I am incharge of car games at the event and have some really great games planned. As I am sure many of you know, there will be a A-400 meeting at this event and will be a great oppurtunity for many of us in this club to meet. We are expecting a large turn out of A-400s. We will have an indoor and out door swap meet going on during this meet so if any of you have extra A-400 pieces laying around that you no longer need, please do bring them to this meet as you will probably not find such a large gathering of Model A lovers as this. I look forward to meeting each of you in Dallas. Be safe getting there.

Well done Arlen, I know how you feel as I am now the proud owner of Gerald Greenfield's #738. I just look at it every day an admire what great cars they are. I have registered for Dallas and look forward to catching up with A400 owners as well Cheers Rod Wood, Mooroopna, Victoria, Australia

Arlen Our A400 meeting will be Fri afternoon 3:00PM till 4:30 PM. We will have a very good program which I am starting to work on. Do you think it would be possible to have a location on Fri where we could get all the A400s at the meeting in one place just after the meeting for photos and more A400 discussion? It should not be a problem. The Hotel is a great place for this event. If the parking lot is full, or we couldnt get all the cars parked next to each other, then there is a park about a block down the street. The park is where many of the tours events will take place. Car games, up hill races, etc... Anyway, there is plenty of space there for the club to get a great group photo and there is nothing else going on there after our meeting so we could stay as long as we wanted to and talk and take pictures there. As of early registration, we already have over 400 cars signed up and are expecting between 700 and 1000 when everything is all done. Hope to see yall there.

The Model A Ford Foundation (MAFFI) has its general membership meeting at 3:00PM and the Blue Oval Seminar at 4:00PM on the same day as the A-400 Group is meeting. As a Trustee of MAFFI, I sadly will have to miss the A400 Group meeting but do want to catch up on what took place with the A400 Group. MAFFI has a lot of factory photos of the convertible sedan, which I understand the photo collection will be available at the World Meet.

Arlen,I will be in touch with you and we will then plant to try and get as many A400s assembled at the park as we can. It will be a fun time to get a lot of these beautiful cars together in one place. Skipper, you will find the Ford photos you are talking about in the Resource Section. I tried to get the A400 meeting changed to earlier in the day but could not. We will miss you at our meeting but maybe you can join us at the park. Bill Edstrom
