Should the steering column bracket be black or lower body color . I have seen both . Also does anyone have dimensions for the

driver side seat slide mechanism . On my car the part mounted to the floor is 2 1/4 inch in front and 1 3/4 at the back. The overall

length is 10 3/8 inch .

Dan,the judging standards states that they were painted lower body color. Page B-2 in the JDs. For the seat question go to the Resource section and open Phil Allin's newsletter and in the number 4 issue you will find sketches of the drivers seat mechanism.

I did find it in the judging standards , but I have also seen drawings that indicate black . I thought may be it was one of

those things that could go either way . I guess I will stick with the judging standards .
