Subject: Inside door handle finish

I know that we have to adhere to the Judging standards BUT I was reading in the 1934 Hardware and Trimming Supplies book from the Ford Company and it states that the interior handles are CHROME plated (page 20-37-38)and the Escutcheons are Nickel plated. Judging standards state Bright Nickel for both. What to do??

You should finish them bright nickle as per the Judging Standards. For your information, this is also the finish noted on the original Ford blue prints for these items.
