Subject: Rear Apron

I know the rear apron is painted body colour but can anyone tell if the moulding around the edge of the rear apron is painted the same colour as the body moulding.

Hello Alan:

I have photographic documentation of original cars showing the rear valance painted body color or painted black. I think that the Judging Standards suggest that the valance be painted body color. If you choose to paint your valance panel body color, you would paint the entire valance body color including the reveals.
