Here is my first attempt at making the red fibre bumper B-402206. I made it from hard rubber and not fibre. There are some air bubble in it and I am not sure of the color but it is not bad for a first try. What do you think ? Bob

The bumper looks great. However, the color appears to have to much orange in it. Could be the picture, but the bumper you sent me a picture of has the proper red color.

That picture was take with a flash so the color is off. Here is one that is closer to real life. Do you have an original to compare it with. If so I can send you some and you can tell me how far off it is. Bob

I have a partial original bumper. It is of the original fibre material and dull orange in color. The color may or may not have faded over time, who knows for certain. I'll offer it up for a color comparison if you'd like.

I also have an original which is badly faded, but it is broken into two pieces and at the break point is what I would consider a red color. Could send it to you and if you want to take a small core sample, it might prove helpful. Let me know.
