Does anyone have a photo or a print of the 1931 mirror or an old mirror That you would part with? The standards tell that it is 2 1/2 by 4 1/2 to 5 inches with a 1/4 inch radius on he corners. It also is chamfered (beveled). The question is what is the size of the chamfer? How is the chamfer done at the corners?

Thanks

Bill,

I believe I have the original mirror (glass) from my A400. I'll find it and send it to you.

Bill, I had several of the original mirrors re-silvered when I was building show cars. There was a fellow in New Jersey that did it at a reasonable price in just a week turn around time. He also offered a discount for more than one being done at a time. I got his name from 'services offered' in HMN. Once you know what they look like (an original glass) you can pick them up at swap meets for a buck or two. Just be sure they are not scratched, for it will still be there after they are re-silvered. Steve
